BESC Wine Group was founded by brothers Mario Albota and Luca Albota, joined by Luka Vlajčić.

Growing up between Italy and Northern Europe and studying International Business Administration at Erasmus University Rotterdam, they saw a clear gap: incredible Italian wineries lacked the time, techniques, or connections to expand abroad, while importers were wasting resources searching for the right fit.

To bridge this gap, the three combined modern consulting frameworks with deep Italian roots and a trusted veteran partner in Italy with over fifty years of experience and personal relationships with winery owners.

What started as small introductions has become BESC Wine, part of BESC group—a dedicated consultancy focused exclusively on Italian wine.
